When you give to the Community-Word Project, you become an integral part of the CWP team working to develop young people's literacy skills, create positive peer relationships, foster self-esteem, and stimulate an interest in learning our young people can carry with them as they grow. As another source of funding, and in order to keep the special mural workshops free of charge, the murals become part of The Community~Word Project's Mural Collection and Tour and reproductions of the murals or images from the murals may be used on t-shirts, greeting cards and other items to sell, or in other ways.  All proceeds generated from such uses of images from the Community~Word murals will go towards funding Community~Word workshops and providing free educational resources to students in under-resourced communities.  If you have any questions about the distribution of such items to raise funds for the Community~Word Project, please contact Michele Kotler at 212~962~3820.
